YouTube opens up a creators’ space in Paris, coming to Mumbai soon
As YouTube becomes as big of a creative medium as it is a consumption medium, the company is taking steps to foster this creative spirit. Google announced the opening of its seventh creators YouTube space in Paris. The city has shown aggressive growth year over year in viewership of YouTube content. The centre would provide training programs and production equipment to help local creators.
Such YouTube spaces are already present in Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Tokyo, New York and São Paulo. Google said that the creator spaces in London and Berlin have already produced more than 1500 original videos.
YouTube also has plans to build a similar creators’ YouTube space in Mumbai, India in partnership with Whistling Woods International. Such a space would be immensely useful for the emerging YouTube creators in India have made a big name in the past couple of years.
