Facebook HQ to have Narendra Modi as guest
Facebook has had a special tradition of getting top people for its town Hall Q&A and this time the case is even more special since Narendra Modi has been invited for the next event. This was announced by Mark Zuckerburg himself on his profile post.
I’m excited to announce that Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India will be visiting Facebook HQ later this month for a Townhall Q&A.
Prime Minister Modi and I will discuss how communities can work together to address social and economic challenges.
We want to hear your questions. Please ask them in the comments below and we’ll try to get to as many as possible.
The event will be on Sunday, September 27 at 9:30am pacific time. I’ll post the live video here and it will also be on Prime Minister Modi’s page.
I had the chance to visit Prime Minister Modi in India last year and it’s an honor to have the chance to host him here at Facebook.
The format of this program works by asking the community to put questions on Facebook which are then put forward by Mark himself to the guest.
It is no secret that one of the major missions of the Prime Minister has been to promote India to the world. And what better way to promote India and the skill of Indian professionals than by fielding the questions put forward from the world’s largest online community.
If the questions do end up being uncensored and unfiltered: you can expect topics ranging from censorship to visas coming up.
